Santhosh Sankaran is a seasoned professional in Backend Engineering, with over 6 years of hands-on experience in Java, Python, NodeJS applications, relational and NoSQL databases, and various open-source tools and technologies like Docker, Airflow, Redis, RabbitMQ, etc. Currently working as a Tech Lead at Leena AI, Santhosh has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer - Backend at Noodle AI and as a Software Development Engineer at Kaleidofin Private Limited. At Noodle AI, Santhosh designed and developed a Collaboration Module API service using Flask RESTPlus framework for executives to work with a tasks-based system for the Supply Chain AI application. He also designed and developed a generic, modular DAG framework for running configurable Airflow pipelines for the Supply Chain AI application suite. Additionally, Santhosh developed a generic Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline using Groovy in Jenkins to standardize the CI/CD process across the entire organization. His efforts resulted in saving an annual cost of $12,000 and enhancing the overall productivity of the organization. At Kaleidofin Private Limited, Santhosh designed and developed a blurry check algorithm for KYC documents and achieved 2.5x efficient customer conversion using Android, SpringBoot, and Mobile Vision API from Google. He also designed and developed the application resume feature for the web application using Angular and SpringBoot to enhance the UX and business conversion for corporate clients. Santhosh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and completed his schooling from Maharidhi Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School.
