Her current work at IIIT Hyderabad involves developing text recognition systems for low-resource languages, improving accuracy for text recognition for English benchmark datasets, and developing a search engine for handwritten document collections. She has also worked on projects related to transfer learning, semi-automatic data annotation, representation learning, search and indexing, and synthetic data generation.
