Santosh Kumar Swarnkar is a seasoned DevOps Lead with over 17 years of experience in cloud IT operations and development, IT infrastructure management, solution designing, and security analysis. Currently working as a Lead in Senior System Analyst at Oracle, he is responsible for managing security and identity services on Oracle Cloud. Santosh has extensive technical expertise in Linux/Unix, OCI cloud, Docker & Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, Git, Power Broker, OUD, ODSEE, Python/Perl/Shell, DR planning, implementation, capacity planning, and configuration management. He has successfully delivered multiple projects in his career, including the deployment of OSMS patching, custom images for OCI, and containerized DSEE and PowerBroker. With his excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking, Santosh has been instrumental in providing technical recommendations to leadership and developing, implementing, securing, automating, and evaluating new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures within the specific functional area of focus. Prior to joining Oracle, Santosh worked as a Lead Consultant (Subject Matter Expert) – System Administration at IBM, where he delivered in multiple accounts from the US, UK, and Canada. He also worked at Tech Mahindra as an Administration Linux/Unix/Websphere MQ admin, where he was responsible for the installation, administration, production support, and maintenance of Unix/Linux, Middleware products throughout Merrill Lynch. Santosh holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation - University and a Master's degree in Commerce from Bhopal. He is proficient in Ansible, Terraform, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Elastic Search, Senior Software Engineer, CI/CD, Python, infra, AWS, SRE, and ML.
