Santosh Gokul is a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for the FinTech industry. With nearly 4 years of relevant experience, he has worked on exciting projects in the areas of KYC and credit scoring, using AI and machine/deep learning-based approaches to drive results. Currently, Santosh works as an MLOps Engineer at spexmojo, where he is responsible for developing API back-ends using Flask framework in Python, hosting deep learning models for eye-wear try-on, and deploying services using AWS. Prior to this, Santosh worked as a Consultant SDE-Test at Swiggy, where he was part of the Finance engineering QA team. He was responsible for IPO projects, including AR-Upfront, PaymentGateway reconciliation service, and Vendor application for restaurants. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant at univ.ai, where he developed interactive course materials on Machine learning and Python and worked under professors to deliver these courses. Santosh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science and Engineering from PES University, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his Karnataka PUC in PCM and Computer Science from The Amaatra Academy in 2016. Santosh is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Deep Learning, AI, AWS, Python, Flask, Backend, ML, test, QA, Neo4j, Scikit, dotNET, SDET, Redis, RabbitMQ, Javascript, Neural Networks, MongoDB, and Elastic Search. With his experience and expertise, Santosh is always on the lookout for new innovations in the FinTech industry and is keen to collaborate with like-minded individuals to build something cool or simply have a chat over a cup of milkshake.
