Santosh Gupta is a highly skilled software engineer with over 9 years of experience in designing and building scalable systems. He has expertise in backend development using C#, Node.js, and Java. Santosh is currently working at Microsoft and has previously worked with Amazon and Paytm. He has a passion for frontend and DevOps and has worked extensively on both. Currently, Santosh is working as a Training & Placement Coordinator at the National Institute of Technology Silchar. Here, he is responsible for the entire campus placement life-cycle, from inviting companies to hosting interviews and securing job offers for students. He has drafted and executed key policies and regulations governing the campus placement at NIT Silchar and has secured at least one job offer for 93% plus students from the branch and others with multiple offers. He has also secured internship/training opportunities for 100% of students from the branch. In his previous roles, Santosh worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung and was responsible for developing and debugging system software for Samsung Smart Televisions. He also worked at Indifi as a Software Engineer, where he designed and developed critical pieces of the Loan Origination System and worked on Node.js, Angularjs, SQL, RabbitMQ, Elastic-search, and Redis. He also designed and created REST APIs and supported API integrations with partners. Santosh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar.
