Santosh Katageri is a Senior DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently working at Oracle as a DevOps Specialist, where he is responsible for cloud automation and DevOps tools like Jira, Terraform, Packer, Docker, and Kubernetes. Santosh has hands-on experience working with multiple cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, and GCP and has a demonstrable knowledge of cloud automation using Bash and Go. Apart from his work, Santosh is also passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. He actively participates in online tech meetups and conferences to keep himself updated and to develop and share his knowledge with others. Before joining Oracle, Santosh worked as a Cloud Engineer at Zynga, where he was part of the Cloud Engineering team. He was responsible for defining the cloud infrastructure, resource provisioning, orchestrating the application lifecycle, and working with customers to create, maintain, scale, and update the deployments. He also assisted with Cloud Automation implementations using aws-CLI, Python (Boto3), Lambda, and Terraform in a multi-cloud environment. Santosh has also worked as a DevOps Engineer at Mindtree, where he contributed to projects from a car rental service provider and an air transport service company. Santosh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Siddaganga Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Technology in Software Engineering from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes. He also holds a Pre-University (Science) degree from Vidya Prasarak Society's College of BCA Bagalkot and a High School degree from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
