Santosh Kumar is an experienced Engineer in Android development, with over 8 years of solid experience in Product development across various domains like Automotive, Healthcare, E-commerce, and Retail. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at H&M, Santosh has previously worked with Walmart and PWC in the capacity of Software Development Engineer III and Senior Software Engineer, respectively. Santosh has extensive experience in developing native Android applications with Java and Kotlin, with 7+ years of experience in Java and 4+ years in Kotlin. He has a deep understanding of Object-oriented and Reactive programming, and the ability to use Design (GOF) and Architectural patterns (MVVM clean, MVP) in Android. He has a good hold on designing applications keeping solid principles in mind and has a good knowledge of Android Jetpack arch components (Work manager, Room, Navigation), Dagger, Picasso, Retrofit, and other important useful libraries. Santosh has worked with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and many other third-party libraries and has also worked on Firebase database, file storage, push notification, etc. He has exposure to Hybrid mobile apps like Xamarin and has a good knowledge of test cases and JUnit test frameworks (Mockito, Mockk, Roboelectric). He has used Jenkins looper for continuous integration with Git and Gradle. Santosh has a good knowledge of Geofencing and Google maps and has worked with various Build variants of Android applications. He has worked with Airwatch and managed Play Store application deployment. He also has Santoku operating system knowledge for performing penetration tests on Android. Santosh has a Bachelor's degree in Information Science Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University and has completed his 12th from Langat Singh College and 10th from Vidya Bihar High School. With his relevant experience of 9.03 years, Santosh is a mentor and has been working with the Agile development model for more than 7 years, having a good hold on the process like pre-planning, planning, sprint cycle, retrospective, and other things related to Agile development model.
