Santosh Waddi is a highly experienced Principal Engineer with over 6 years of experience in Computer Vision. He is a post-graduate from IIT Bombay and a machine learning enthusiast. Currently, he is working at BigBasket as a Principal Engineer-1, where he develops vision-based solutions for the Fresho stores. Prior to this, Santosh worked as a Technical Lead at Samsung R&D Bangalore, where he commercialized many multimedia solutions in Samsung Flagship and Mid-tier Camera platforms. He has good domain knowledge in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Audio Processing. Santosh has a strong educational background, having completed his Master of Technology (MTech) in Signal Processing, Speech Processing, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Embedded Systems from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering. In addition, Santosh has completed his Intermediate from Sri Chaitanya and High School from Vignan Vidyalayam. He possesses a wide range of technical skills, including Computer Vision, ML, Image Processing, Senior Software Engineer, Deep Learning, Python, and Mobile.
