Sanxchep S. is a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer with over 1 year of experience in both research and industry, specializing in Web Development, Machine Learning, Cloud Services, Data Engineering, and Natural Language Processing. He has also developed and deployed an ML-based Backend service that can fetch the book based on the visual input given using OCR, OpenSearch, and Wizenose, and uses Redis to store sessions. Previously, Sanxchep worked as a Backend Developer at nimoy.ai, where he deployed several ML-based services into production running on Django Rest Framework, dockerized and hosted on Linux instances. He also prototyped and developed an application for taking attendance of the students leveraging the Face Recognition Service Provided by AWS Rekognition using Django REST Framework and deployed it as a microservice. The services developed by Sanxchep are being used by around 10k MAU. Sanxchep has also worked as an Operations Team Member at AIESEC. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, where he will be graduating in June 2022.
