Saptarshi Prakash is a Director of Design at Swiggy, India's largest food ordering and delivery platform. He is a problem solver at heart and enjoys tackling complex UX flows. Saptarshi holds a degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras. However, he chose Digital Experience Designing as his profession because he believes that problem-solving can go beyond the limits of engineering. As a professional, Saptarshi has worked with some of the well-known startups in India, including Housing.com and Zeta, among others. He has delivered 50+ UX talks/workshops at various places, including big names like Amazon, Grab, and Shopee. Saptarshi is passionate about design and has over eight years of relevant experience in the field. In his current role at Swiggy, Saptarshi oversees Consumer Design. He has also held the positions of Senior Product Design Manager and Product Design Manager at Swiggy. Saptarshi has a keen eye for detail and believes in judging a book by its cover. Apart from designing, Saptarshi enjoys traveling to far-off countries and drafting his next design talk. He describes himself as a problem solver who enjoys counseling heart-broken friends and breaking his head to build complex UX flows. Saptarshi's education history includes a Dual Degree - BTech, MTech in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from IIT Madras and a Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching degree from FIITJEE.
