Sarah Klett is an experienced Data Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently working at Reonomy, she is responsible for developing and automating high-quality, scalable solutions across the entire data lifecycle, from raw data to powerful insights and analytics. She has also worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Red Ventures, where she led and managed a team of data engineers that supported all data ingestion and processing for their Entertainment Vertical. Sarah worked closely with the business to understand and drive their strategy and collaborated with data analysts and data scientists to build and productionalize models and dashboards. Sarah has also worked as a Data Engineer at Tresata, where she was responsible for cleaning, transforming, linking, and analyzing complex, high volume data from varying, disparate sources. She developed and automated client implementations of the software across health and retail industries and produced a recommendation algorithm for the discovery of new items at a large retailer that is currently live and in production. Sarah's technical skills include Data Engineering, Spark, AWS, infra, and Scala. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from Davidson College in 2015. Sarah is a highly motivated individual who has developed a common data model using Spark and Scala to help standardize reporting and analytics across verticals and businesses. She has also created a common library for data engineers and enlisted a team of collaborators to contribute and support. Sarah is a mentor to new employees and summer interns during their training.
