Sarah Oliason is a passionate professional with a strong background in disability support and advocacy services. As a Vocational Program Manager at elmview, Sarah managed employment support and community inclusion programs to increase the quality of support to people with disabilities. She created and maintained an internal QA/auditing system to ensure quality of services and meet reporting requirements. Sarah also provided cultural sensitivity and ethics coaching to direct reports to improve the organization’s ability to meet the needs of the community. Sarah is currently pursuing a Certificate in Software Engineering with Specialization in Backend Java at Kenzie Academy. She is eager to apply her recent studies in software engineering and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to ethics to maximize technology’s ability to provide support to people with disabilities. Prior to her current role, Sarah worked as a Program Assistant/Job Coach at elmview and as a Production/Office Assistant at Country Financial®. At Country Financial®, she independently created and maintained a reference manual to reduce response times for uncommon questions and issues, as well as reducing training costs for new employees. Sarah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science with an Emphasis on Clinical Aspects of Cognition from the University of California, San Diego, and a High School Diploma from Ballard High School. With 5.28 years of relevant experience in the field, Sarah has a strong understanding of the importance of quality assurance and ethical practices in providing support to individuals with disabilities. She is committed to using her skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
