Sarah Spear is a highly experienced Facilitator, Design & Project Manager, and Spokesperson with over 13 years of experience in the non-profit sector. She is currently serving as the Senior Director of Development & Engagement at love146, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending child trafficking and exploitation. In her current role, Sarah is responsible for developing and overseeing the organizational donor strategy, cultivating donor relationships with corporations and foundations, managing the grant process, and developing an annual plan each fiscal year in alignment with the grants strategy. Prior to her current role, Sarah served as the Development Officer and Director of Operations at love146. In her role as Director of Operations, Sarah managed Legal, Contracts, Tech, Operations, Compliance, Professional and Employee Insurance, Registrations, and Facilities across three US locations with a staff of four and budget of $120,000. She also administered operational requirements of $2.2MM, three-year, federal and state grants that quadrupled the impact of the Survivor Care program within the first year. Sarah chaired Directors’ and Staff Meetings, managed inter-departmental projects at the direction of the CEO, and created new policies to support growth, including HIPAA, Data Security, and EEO. Sarah holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, with a focus on Operations and Organizational Development. She also holds a BS in Chemistry from Gordon College. Sarah's skills and experience make her an expert in project management, fundraising, grant writing, operations management, and policy development.
