Saral Uttamani is a skilled and dynamic young professional with a passion for technology and a strong background in software development, research, and teaching. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Google's Android Camera team, he is dedicated to improving the camera one picture at a time. He is also familiar with Git, Agile(Jira), Basic Adobe Illustrator, and LaTex. Before joining Google, Saral worked as a Python Developer E2 at Interactive Brokers, where he was responsible for catching the bad guys. He was later promoted to Python Developer and worked with the compliance team to develop, debug, and test the trade and AML surveillance system. He also implemented and maintained report generators, supporting services, and libraries in Python with a focus on modularity, readability, scalability, maintainability, and efficient data retrieval from Oracle databases. In addition, he handled a stand-alone feature to monitor report status and failure notification using Grafana dashboard, Elasticsearch, and Pandas. Saral holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans.
