Sarath Prasad is a Computer Vision Technical Specialist and Product Owner with a passion for Artificial Intelligence. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, he is an expert in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning technologies. Currently, he works at Continental as a Technical Specialist and Algorithm Developer for their Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) sensorics team. Sarath is a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and share his knowledge. He is committed to applying his expertise to develop outstanding technologies for organizations. He has a Master's degree in Communication and Signal Processing Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Mandi, where he completed his Master's thesis project. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University. During his time at Continental, Sarath worked as an intern with the Machine Learning team for ADAS. He developed a Japanese Sign Recognition System using Optical Character Recognition, which focused on recognizing Japanese traffic signs with Japanese text distributed over three different scripts. The architecture he formulated involved a systematic combination of Computer Vision algorithms and Deep Learning methods. Sarath is also a former Student Coordinator at the Career and Placement Cell. He is a team player who values collaboration and communication. His tech stack includes Computer Vision, ML, and Deep Learning, which he uses to create innovative solutions for his clients.
