Saravanan Nakkeeran is a highly efficient and enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, with a passion for facing challenges and learning new things. With over 7 years of relevant experience, he is a skilled problem solver with a deep analytical mindset. He is also ambitious, assiduous, and a team player with a sportive personality. Currently, Saravanan works as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Microsoft, where he has been a part of the Azure Data Box family team for the past four years. In his current role, he led a team of four to design and develop a new feature called "Export From Azure" for Azure Data Box. He also worked with a team of six to migrate Azure databox service from Azure cloud service to Azure Service fabric. Saravanan was also a loaned resource for the Azure Stack Edge team, where he migrated the service to Service fabric and then to Azure Stack. Besides, Saravanan has also optimized the resource provisioning library of data box service and increased the throughput of the queries by a factor of 4. He has integrated famous shipping carrier's APIs like UPS, DHL, FedEx, and Singpost with the Azure Data Center Operations APIs with the Azure Data Box Service. He has also developed the chain of custody module and the priority-based job queue management for the data box service. Saravanan's past experience includes working as a Software Development Engineer and Summer Internship at Microsoft. He has also worked on Azure StorSimple, where he developed POCs for a couple of projects that later led to the development of the service StorSimple Data Manager. Saravanan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and has completed his Higher Secondary Schooling from Green Park Schools, Namakkal. He has also completed SSLC from Periyar Centinary Memorial Matric Higher Secondary School, Trichy. Saravanan's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Azure, Infra, Test, Microservices, and Integration.
