Sarbamoy Mallick is a Software Development Engineer with a focus on backend development. Currently, he is working as a Software Developer Intern at Thoughtspot, where he has developed tools to push the summary of the Event Traces of every service running in the cluster to InfluxDB using Telegraf. He has also developed a tool for selective pushing of information on AWS S3 based on message-level and field-level verbosity. Sarbamoy completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Technology from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur in 2019. During his time at IIEST, he gained expertise in software engineering, Python, and backend development. He also completed his Higher Secondary Education and Secondary Education from St. Xavier's Institution. Prior to joining Thoughtspot, Sarbamoy worked as a Software Developer Intern at Impel Labs, where he worked on building Trailix, a recommendation portal for trailers based on user history, using a collaborative filtering approach. His primary area of work focused on developing the backend and the recommendation algorithm to suggest trailers to users, written in Python.
