Sarbik Betal is a skilled Frontend Engineer with a passion for all things technology. With a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IIEST Shibpur, Sarbik has gained expertise in various technologies including Javascript, Node, and Vue. He has experience working with different startups, including Satisfic and Carabiner Technologies, where he worked as a Backend Developer Intern and Full Stack Developer Intern, respectively. Currently, Sarbik is working as a Frontend Engineer - SDE 1 at Atlan, where he is exploring the depths of JS and web standards while trying to understand reactivity from the core. He is also interested in ML, NLP, and AWS and has worked with these technologies in the past. At Carabiner Technologies, he worked on OCLAVI, a machine learning image/video/text annotation tool that users can feed into their machine learning, artificial intelligence, and NLP based models. He was responsible for enabling file upload from FTP server and normal file picker via dropzone, creating a microservice to extract frames from a video for video annotation, and creating a logger service as well. Sarbik is a tech enthusiast who loves to read on DEV and Medium. He has a strong foundation in Computer Science and has completed his Higher Secondary education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pondicherry. He has also completed his Physical Sciences education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, East Medinipur, and his primary education from Silver Point School. Sarbik's technical skills include Frontend, Software Engineering, Web Development, Backend, Javascript, ML, AWS, VueJS, NLP, MongoDB, Microservices, and AngularJS. He has 1.45 years of relevant experience and is always looking to expand his knowledge and skills in the field of technology.
