Sargam Modak is a passionate software engineer and machine learning (ML) engineer with over 3.78 years of relevant experience. She is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Blaize, where she is engaged in various deep learning-based proof of concepts (POCs) and research papers for in-house software development kit (SDK) and chipset. She also resolves engineering issues faced by customers during the end-to-end implementation of deep learning solutions and works on end-to-end demos for different use cases and scenarios. Sargam started her career as a Senior Software Engineer at Mindtree, where she gained expertise in the deep learning field and worked on several POCs. She also worked on multilabel classification on a cloth dataset and real-time object detection using state-of-the-art technologies like YOLO and Retinanet. Later, she worked as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Mindtree, where she worked on several problems simultaneously, explored several possible solutions, and mentored, reviewed, and supported her teammates. Sargam holds a Master of Technology in Data Science from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Agartala. She completed her Class XII and Class X from Dehradun Public School. Sargam is proficient in several technologies, including Python, NLP, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Object Detection, Polygon, OpenCV, Image Processing, Scikit, and Pandas. She is also skilled in software engineering, ML, computer vision, deep learning, research, and neural networks. Apart from her work, Sargam loves indulging in outdoor activities and various sports, especially basketball. She is also passionate about meeting new people, learning new things, and exploring new opportunities.
