Sartaj Singh is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in the hospitality industry. He is currently working as an SDE-3 at Zeta (Directi), where he is involved in developing the Optima Platform. The platform is designed to provide benefit products to end-users and consists of multiple microservices. Sartaj is skilled in various technologies, including Spring Framework, Apache Kafka, Ruby on Rails, Java, and JavaScript. He has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Chitkara University. Before joining Zeta, Sartaj worked at OYO as a Software Development Engineer. During his tenure, he led the complete backend part and stakeholder management for OYODesk, an in-house ticketing platform. He also designed and developed a configuration-based system to automate business workflows, which supported a UI to build update workflows on the fly. Additionally, he developed a mobile web bot product, which helped reduce telecom and headcount costs. Sartaj was also responsible for designing and developing a chat platform called Samwaad Microservice. Sartaj has extensive experience in various technologies such as Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, AWS SES, Websockets (SockJs, stomp), and MongoDB. He has a strong engineering background and has worked on various projects that required him to design and build the whole backend. Sartaj has also managed and trained junior developers for one of the large products of OYO. Sartaj is a skilled software engineer with over five years of relevant experience. He is proficient in various technologies such as Spring, AWS, Kafka, Java, and Ruby. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and has a strong background in microservices and backend development.
