Sartaj Singh is a skilled Data Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He is highly interested in playing with data and loves to contribute to open source software in his free time. Sartaj is skilled in Python, C, and Mathematics and enjoys speaking at conferences about his experiences. Currently, Sartaj is working as a Data Engineer at upflex, where he is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems. Prior to this, he worked as an Independent Software Developer and a Winter Intern at Xerox. At Xerox, Sartaj's team secured the third rank in the all India XRCI machine learning challenge. He also attended a week-long winter school on machine learning at XRCI and worked on a machine learning-based system to predict diseases based on real healthcare data. Sartaj holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He also holds a High School degree in PCM from Kalka Public School - Alaknanda and attended Delhi Public School - Moradabad from 2006 to 2010. Sartaj's tech stack includes Data Engineering, Python, and Software Engineering. He is a proactive problem solver and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
