Sartaki Sinha Roy is a seasoned Lead Data Scientist with over 6 years of experience in the field. Currently working with LG Ad Solutions, he has been instrumental in setting up the Data Science team in the Bangalore office and has been leading it since then. Sartaki has been a part of LG Ad Solutions since January 2019 and has worked his way up from an intern to a Lead Data Scientist. During his tenure, Sartaki has mentored and led multiple projects, including Automatic addition of ad cue points for contents, Scale up of Automatic Content Recognition tech, Natural Language Understanding for TV voice commands, and Real-time detection of Trending Shows. He has also been involved in Political Leaning Analysis of TV Shows / TV Networks and Ad / TV show detection using Closed Captions / STT. Sartaki has also been responsible for National TV Ad Spend prediction. Sartaki has a Master of Technology degree in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He also has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in EE from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur. He has also completed a Short Term Research Visit from Osaka Prefecture University. Sartaki's technical expertise includes Data Science, Research Science, Spark, Python, SQL, BERT, NLP, Tensorflow, and Web. He has been involved in campus hiring for DS (2020 - 2021) and has helped and mentored for ramp up of new campus joinees during the Covid period. Sartaki has also helped the team to set the best DS practices and processes. Sartaki is a proactive team player with excellent communication and leadership skills. He is passionate about his work and is constantly looking for new challenges to push his limits.
