Sarthak Goel is a highly motivated and accomplished Data Scientist with over 2 years of relevant experience in the field of Data, AI, IT, and software development. He has an extensive background in the industry, having worked for renowned companies such as IBM, Goldman Sachs, Qubole, DataFortune, Panasonic, and NovaEdge. In addition to his industry experience, Sarthak has also been actively involved in research projects at BITS Goa under the fields of Economics and Computer Science. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Economics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Goa. Sarthak is a conversationalist and indulges in public speaking. He has a keen interest in technology, science, politics, and economics. He believes in giving 100% to any task he takes up and is committed to giving back to society by actively volunteering for the community. Currently working as a Data Scientist at IBM, Sarthak is responsible for enterprise data warehousing development for HDFC Bank. He has previously worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, Investment Banking Division- Consumer Retail Group, EMEA Region. Classic M&A, and as a Software Engineer Intern at Qubole, where he worked on full-stack development, using Ruby on Rails to build APIs, authorization, authentication, auditing, and history framework for the interface for Qubole employees. Sarthak possesses a diverse set of skills, including Research Scientist, Data Scientist, AI, Software Engineer, Deep Learning, and Ruby. He is looking for permanent opportunities starting from June 2021 in the field of Data, AI, IT, and software development, and is open to part-time opportunities in the present to work with.
