Sarthak Gupta is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in JavaScript and ReactJS. He has a proven track record of building large and small-scale products within both private and public domains. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at smartq, where he is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Prior to this, Sarthak worked at HSBC as a Software Engineer, where he played a vital role in implementing regulatory projects and enabling real-time digital alert communications for a broad range of Mexico transactions. He also led the team for designing a web application intended to reduce mainframe dependency through analyzing COBOL code using Python, React JS, and MongoDB stack. Further, he automated the Unit testing module for validating critical transaction data using JavaScript and developed an Integration tool used by Customer Service Representatives (CSR) for auto collection of customer data and queries from multiple platforms. Sarthak has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at the Institute for Plasma Research, where he worked on trajectory planning for standalone Robot arm for automatic damage detection and recognition of First Wall Tile Images in Tokamak (in a nuclear reactor) using Image Processing and Deep Q Network. This was used for cleaning/maintenance activities, and the chapter was published in Springer in ‘Algorithms and Architectures in Parallel Processing,’ Guangzhou, November 2018. Sarthak holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He is proficient in various technologies, including NLP, Python, Redux, MongoDB, Web, test, Integration, Mobile, Image Processing, Deep Learning, Tensorflow, SQL, Information Retrieval, Keras, Tokenization, Stemming, n-grams, Research Scientist, and Search. Overall, he has 5.28 years of relevant experience in the software engineering domain.
