Sarthak Shrivastava is a highly motivated and skilled individual with a passion for software engineering and research. Currently working as a Summer Intern at Axis Bank, he has built a web-scraping tool that extracts information related to employees’ salaries, revenues, and capitals of an organization. He employed Selenium to automate web browsers and interact with dynamic web pages, handled captcha recognition through OpenCV based character segmentation technique, and analyzed the scraped data to gain useful business insights. The developed tool is capable of scraping data of 600K+ organizations, and he proposed ideas to amplify sales of salary accounts. Prior to his current role, Sarthak worked as a Summer Undergraduate Research Award (SURA) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His project title was "The Application of Machine Learning to Structural Health Monitoring." He also worked as an Academic Mentor at the Board for Student Welfare, where he peer mentored UG freshers in Engineering Mechanics course and assisted them acclimate to a new academic setting. Sarthak is a senior at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering, with an expected graduation date of December 2023. He has a tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Web, OpenCV, Selenium, Research Scientist, and ML. With 0.87 years of relevant experience, he is well-versed in software engineering and research, and he is excited about the opportunity to further develop his skills as an Associate Software Engineer at SirionLabs.
