Sarthak Subramanian is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he is working with Myntra, one of India's leading fashion e-commerce companies, where he is involved in solving complex problems at scale. With a passion for taking on challenging projects, Sarthak is always looking for opportunities to push his limits and expand his skill set. Prior to Myntra, Sarthak worked with Paytm, where he was part of the travel team. During his tenure, he headed, designed, and coded a deals microservice from scratch, which resulted in an increase in bookings. He also worked with Melorra, an e-commerce site for selling jewelry, where he built a production-ready site from scratch in just a month's time using React. He worked solely on critical sections of the site, including checkout and catalog pages, and implemented dynamic filters. Sarthak also used Redux, lazy loading, code splitting, and service worker for optimizing the site performance. He successfully converted a client-side rendered site to a server-side rendered site using Next JS and worked on SEO-friendly URL restructuring for landing pages. Sarthak holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology. He has a strong technical background and is well-versed in microservices, Spark, Apache Airflow, Redux, and front-end web development.
