Sarvesh Agarwal is a highly skilled Software Engineer at Facebook with over 10 years of relevant experience. He is a passionate coder who loves to build new things and is always willing to get his hands dirty with code. Sarvesh's interests lie in Algorithms and System Designs, and he constantly tries to keep learning new things in his free time. Currently, he is pursuing a Machine Learning course in Coursera taught by Andrew NG. Sarvesh has worked with some of the top companies in the industry, including Tower Research and Directi. At Directi, he was a Software Engineer and part of a small team responsible for building the Video Ads division. He designed and built APIs to support more than 1000 QPS with a response time of less than 10 milliseconds. Sarvesh also guided and trained juniors in building support products such as Load Tester, Proxy Server, and Automation testing. He worked with the SysOps team to implement various utilities such as ELK for logs, Graphana/Graphite for monitoring, Jenkins for deployment, Nagios alerts, and improvising deployment processes. Sarvesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Machine Learning, testing, Redis, Java, MSSQL, and Jenkins. Sarvesh believes that if there is anything you need to do often, you should write code for it.
