Sarvesh has hands-on experience in managing projects based on microservices architecture and delivering quality results while maintaining engineering and operational excellence metrics. He has worked on the digital transformation journey of large organizations, developing a Digital Commerce platform to expose REST APIs for flight booking services and other products in the digital suite. As an expert in hiring and setting up teams from scratch, Sarvesh has a rich and diverse experience of collaborating and working with global scrum teams spread across different geographies. Currently, Sarvesh is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Walmart, where he manages two scrum teams responsible for managing the e-commerce retail domain of Walmart in Canada and Chile markets. He started the Chile team from scratch and migrated them from a legacy IMS system to an event-driven microservices architecture platform that is elastic and can auto-scale to any limit depending upon the traffic. Sarvesh has previously worked as a Software Development Manager at Amadeus and a Project Lead at Oracle. At Amadeus, he managed two scrum teams to expose REST API for Cart and Order modules for Flight booking functionality. At Oracle, he worked on ADF technologies to create an App-Composer framework through which runtime customization on UI and business logic can be done on other CRM modules like Sales, Marketing, and HR. Sarvesh holds a BTech in Computer Science from KNIT Sultanpur, along with a 12th-grade degree from H.A.L School and a 10th-grade degree in Maths from H.A.L School.
