Currently serving as the Vice President of Software Development Engineering at mas, Sasa is known for his exceptional communication skills and innovative thinking. Sasa has a strong background in software engineering, having worked in various roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Data Scientist. He has also led teams in the areas of mobile, backend, QA, and infrastructure. Prior to joining mas, Sasa founded Persistr, an Event-Sourcing Platform-As-A-Service that provides cloud-native databases and easy-to-use client libraries. He also served as the CTO and Founder of Persistr, where he helped clients get their first event-sourced project up-and-running in a few minutes. Sasa's past experience also includes working as the Director of Engineering at Kater, where he helped grow the engineering team from 5 to 50 people in under 2 years. During his tenure at Kater, Sasa managed day-to-day priorities and long-term initiatives, participated in weekly management meetings, and derived data-driven insights from large amounts of trip-related data.
