Sash Nagarkar is a seasoned coder with over 12 years of relevant experience in software engineering. He is a lifelong nerd and voracious learner who has dabbled in software development up and down the stack. Sash is comfortable working from low-level embedded systems in C to backend systems development in Python to frontend development in JavaScript. He loves working in small and focused teams and excels at addressing business needs through software solutions. Currently, Sash is a Founding Engineer at sematic (yc s22), where he is responsible for developing innovative software solutions. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Osaro, Inc., where he developed infrastructure for machine learning computer vision solutions targeting robotic warehouse logistics. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ampush, where he developed cloud backend engineering for a mobile advertising platform. Sash holds a B.S.E degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, which he completed in 2006. He has a diverse tech stack that includes software engineering, frontend and backend development, computer vision, Python, Javascript, ML, infra, and mobile. Sash is currently looking to pursue software engineering positions at tech-focused startups in San Francisco.
