Sashe Klechkovski is a Principal Engineer and Architect at WorkSpan with over 10 years of experience in software engineering, specializing in web application development. He has a strong track record of designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, robust, and scalable SaaS products. Sashe has experience working across the full stack and building features in fast-paced environments. He is skilled in setting up necessary cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering processes that make highly productive teams. Sashe is a passionate, self-aware, value-driven engineer, and reliable team player. He has experience in leading individual engineering teams and working as an individual contributor across teams, leading the development of complex features or large initiatives. Currently, Sashe works at WorkSpan as a Principal Software Engineer, where he facilitates and accelerates feature development, helps to define, design, scope and solution features, identifies risks, clarifies assumptions, and tech tradeoffs. He provides tech mentorship through pair designing, debugging and programming sessions, code reviews, training, and enablement docs. Sashe also drives the product's architecture, evangelizes architectural decisions and design patterns, and owns and works towards reducing the technical debt. He helps in the hiring process with interview material and conducting tech interviews. In the past, Sashe has worked at WorkSpan as a Senior Software Engineer, where he contributed to the development of the FE app as a Sr. Angular dev. He upgraded (Gulp to Webpack), maintained and enhanced the FE build, measured and improved the FE app's TTL and performance with advanced optimization techniques, and planned and set up a hybrid Angular build, leading the migration (Angular.js to Angular). Sashe also designed, implemented, maintained, and enhanced a template builder, a core feature in the WS product, and supported the FE team with 1:1 help, pair programming, reviews, and FE meeting talks. Sashe holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, and an Electro-technician degree from Sotu Gorgi Naumov. He has experience with software engineering, senior software engineering, AngularJS, CI/CD, web, infra, and Javascript. Overall, Sashe has 9.28 years of relevant experience in the field.
