Sashidhar Guntury is a seasoned ML Engineer with over 9 years of relevant experience in the field of Data Science and ML. Currently, he is working at Chime as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the ML team and using a blend of in-house and AWS frameworks to make ML at Chime state-of-the-art. Previously, Sashidhar worked at Tumblr as a Senior Software Engineer, where he was responsible for spam detection and NSFW content moderation. He deployed TensorFlow models on Kubernetes and scaled them up to production traffic. He also used Spark, Flink, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, Airflow, and Kafka as part of his job. Sashidhar has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, and a B.Tech + MS (Dual Degree) in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in ML, Software Engineering, AWS, Kubernetes, TensorFlow, Data Science, Spark, Apache Airflow, and Kafka.
