Sashidhar Jakkamsetti is a highly skilled Ph.D. candidate in Security and Privacy at UC Irvine, with a proven track record of success in the tech industry. He has worked as a Research Engineer Intern at Meta, where he focused on privacy-preserving ad technology, trusted execution environments, and secure multiparty computation. He also worked as a PhD Research Intern at Visa, where he worked on biometrics, face recognition, template protection, and secure multiparty computation. During his time at Visa, he proposed, designed, and implemented a novel reusable face biometric authentication scheme that outperformed the state-of-the-art with 98.4% accuracy on the LFW face dataset with 91 bits of security. Prior to his internships, Sashidhar worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft for two years. His current research interests include IoT Security & Privacy, Embedded Systems Security, Trusted Execution Environments, Secure Multiparty Computation, and Formal Verification. He is actively seeking full-time research and software engineering roles in these relevant fields. Sashidhar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and is expected to complete his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Irvine in 2023. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various areas of research and software engineering.
