Sasikanth Gudla is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with over 12 years of product design and development experience, including 7+ years of experience using Java technologies across three different industries and organizations of varying sizes and cultures. He holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Physics, with a specialization in Photonics. Currently, Sasikanth works as a Technical Program Lead in the Recon subsystem of GE CT Scanners, where he primarily focuses on Recon algorithms on the Edison Health Link platform. He has also worked in the Host Subsystem of GE MRI Scanners in multiple projects as both an individual contributor and lead, where he led a business-critical New Product Increment project. The module has comprehensive algorithms to place amplifiers and Dispersion Compensation Units to minimize the overall cost of the network. He also briefly worked in the Traffic Mapping module, which takes care of the Transponder/Muxponder cards assignment along with route engineering. Additionally, he worked as a Software Engineer at d&b TransUnion Analytic and Decision Services Pvt. Ltd., where he was involved in quick and agile evaluations, experiments, and efforts to integrate multiple open-source products to give a complete quasi-ERP solution for a small government training institution in the Middle East.
