Saswat Samal is a motivated and passionate individual with a strong interest in MERN stack development. He is currently expanding his knowledge in cloud computing, DevOps, web3, and Linux, and constantly working on new projects. Saswat is an active contributor to open-source programs such as MLH, GSSOC'21, and GSWOC'21, and is proficient in C++, Javascript, and Solidity. He is also a CodeChef 3-star programmer and enjoys solving coding problems on various platforms such as LeetCode and CodeChef. Currently, Saswat is a MLH Prep Fellow'22 at Major League Hacking, where he is gaining valuable experience and skills. In the past, he has worked as a Microsoft Engage'22, where he built a real-time attendance management system using facial recognition and integrated it with a decentralized payment system built on top of the hedera network. He designed a simplistic UI and easy navigation for the user through the site, and much more. Saswat has also worked as an Open Source Contributor and Web Developer at GirlScript, where he made many contributions to the algo-phantom project, designed the sign-in/sign-up page, and added sliding features. Saswat holds a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, and has completed his schooling from Mother's Public School and O.P. Jindal School. He has a strong tech stack, including Web3, Solidity, Javascript, DevOps, Software Engineer, Decentralised, Web, designer, and UI. Overall, Saswat is an ambitious and talented individual with relevant experience of 0.36 years. He has won several accolades, including being a winner of the Hedera India Web3 Hackathon, a SIH'22 Finalist, and a recipient of the LiFT Training Scholarship. Saswat is always eager to learn and grow, and he is committed to making a positive impact in the tech industry.
