Saswata Mukherjee is an enthusiastic and curious Associate Software Engineer at Red Hat, where he works on the OpenShift Monitoring team. He is currently a final-year Computer Science student, with a keen interest in distributed systems, observability, and open source. Saswata has a passion for learning and is always ready to take on challenging engineering problems. Saswata has gained experience as a Full-Stack Web Developer at DSC KIIT and Mozilla. At DSC KIIT, he worked on developing web applications and mobile apps for the Google Developers program for university students. At Mozilla, Saswata was part of Mozilla Club Bhubaneswar, where he helped spread knowledge and grow digital literacy in community spaces. He has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Mayadata. Saswata is currently involved in Thanos and Observatorium maintenance as part of GSoC'21. He is proficient in technologies such as Docker, Android, and web development. Saswata is a quick learner and is always ready to expand his skillset. Saswata completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from KIIT University and his CBSE from Delhi Public School, Ruby Park. He is an excellent team player and has a positive attitude towards work. Saswata has 0.37 years of relevant experience and is looking forward to continuing his journey in the field of distributed systems, observability, and open source.
