Sateendra Dey is a Senior Software Engineer at McKinsey & Company with a passion for building things that help people. He excels at problem-solving, using a confluence of information, knowledge, tools, and skills coupled with logic and creativity to find solutions to the most complex problems. Sateendra is a quick learner and thrives in an environment that provides him challenging situations. He brings with him a strong work ethic with a passion to excel. Sateendra has experience working with various technologies, including Azure, SQL, Elastic Search, and Microservices. He is a full-stack developer, primarily working on an AngularJS + .Net setup. He is currently working on developing a micro service-based API and transitioning to developing on Azure, gaining experience working with CosmosDB, Azure Event Hubs and Service Bus, and Azure Functions. He is also experienced with SQL Server, Elastic Search, and Kibana. Sateendra has worked as a Software Engineer at Blackbaud, where he developed new features and fixed bugs for Blackbaud's YourCause CSRConnect platform. He has also worked as an Intern - Project Management at Alcon, where he designed a project management framework for a technology venture and streamlined reporting between department leads. Sateendra holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology. He has also completed his schooling from Delhi Public School Noida. When not busy working, Sateendra enjoys watching and playing soccer. He also dabbles in videography and graphic designing from time to time. He is actively looking for opportunities to give back to the community and is always interested in connecting with former classmates, colleagues, managers, or anyone who wants to chat about technology.
