Saurabh Gupta is a self-motivated and passionate Software Development Engineer III with over 13 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a strong background in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery of next-generation applications and customizable solutions using primarily Java language in an Agile environment. Saurabh is fully conversant in Agile practices and Scrum Methodologies, GIT, Jenkins, Continuous Improvement, and has thorough hands-on experience in software development lifecycle in both agile and waterfall model. Saurabh is known for his excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills – able to analyze code and engineer well-researched and responsive solutions with excellent English oral and written skills. Currently, Saurabh is working as a Software Development Engineer III at Synamedia, which is hived off from a business unit of Cisco as a separate company. Synamedia empowers service providers around the world to deliver, protect, and monetize video content so they can win in the age of Infinite Entertainment. Prior to this, he has worked as a Software Development Engineer II and I at Cisco, where he provided object-oriented software (OOS) design for Sweden based clients (ViaSat, MTG) in Set-top box (STB) domain. Saurabh has a strong hands-on experience in Java, Design patterns, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, including MVC, UML, XML, and JUnit. He is also interested in working in new age technologies such as Big Data, Hadoop, Spark. Saurabh excels in taking ownership of the project and bringing it to completion by delivering well-documented high-quality code. Currently, he is leading a team in his technical role and has active participation in design discussion and architecture of new features.
