Saurabh Maheshwari is a Senior Manager at Morgan Stanley with over 16 years of relevant experience in the software development life cycle process. He is responsible for bringing best practices used across the industry into the system to help the developer community use SCM tools most effectively with ease. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Saurabh was a Senior Release Engineer at Akamai Technologies, where he established and stabilized the entire build farm. He maintained and upgraded the Perl/Shell script used in the build system and was assigned the work of Perforce Administrator, handling server issues, issues raised by developers, and requests raised by developers. He also worked as a release engineer for a Ruby on Rails application. Throughout his career, Saurabh has worked in almost all roles in the SDLC process. He has developed automation tools using Perl/Python, wrote test suites for tools, worked as a build engineer for many software, and was a release engineer for many tools/software. He has expertise in scripting languages Perl/Python/Shell, MySql as Database, Linux/Windows operating system, Git/SVN/Perforce version control tools, Make/Ant/Maven build tools, Jenkins/Electric Commander/TeamCity build automation tools, and many more related software. Saurabh's objective is to be an expert in Build and Release domain and use his automation skills to help make processes easier, error-free, and faster. At Morgan Stanley, he is currently working on migrating code from Synergy to Git, Git administration, writing hooks to implement company standard and policy for version control system, helping developers automate their builds using TeamCity, and automating processes in TeamCity and Git for better usage by using Perl/Python. Saurabh holds a degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Math from Jaycees Public School. He is proficient in Python, Ruby, MySQL, Jenkins, and Integration.
