Saurabh Pahuja is an accomplished engineering and product leader at Google with over 16 years of experience in solution architecture, people management, and pragmatic leadership. He possesses technical expertise in designing and developing n-tier applications and has demonstrated end-to-end product management, project, and delivery management skills in various technology, architecture, and custom development projects in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Saurabh has in-depth experience in analyzing, architecting, developing, and delivering off-the-shelf products, productized solutions, tools & components, and projects, driving organizations to new business and technology areas. He is an expert in agile practices in the areas of requirements, estimation, planning, development, testing, and project management. He has defined and institutionalized operational optimization processes resulting in large-scale savings. Saurabh is exceptionally strong in research, development, and implementation of the latest cutting-edge technologies with a result-oriented practical approach. Currently, Saurabh is a Senior Engineering Manager at Google, where he continues to lead and inspire teams to deliver innovative solutions. Prior to Google, he was a Senior Engineering Manager at Expedia, where he led efforts on an AI-based Chatbot Platform, intelligent Virtual Agents for automated self-service at scale, and multiple customer-operation automation workflows targeting a reduction in call center costs and an increase in end-user NPS. Saurabh has also worked at BCG as a Project Knowledge Lead, where he was one of the founder members and part of the core team of Analytics Solutions, applabs @ BCG. He was involved in setting up the rapid prototyping practice within the BCG digital team, liaised closely with BCG IT, set up in-house practices, and ensured timely delivery of applications to the end clients. He collaborated with consulting teams, thought partnering to design & develop digital solutions & tools, and coached, mentored, and built the team. Saurabh holds a degree in Algorithmic Toolbox and Data Structures from the University of California and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Punjabi University.
