Saurav Jha is a passionate software engineer currently working at Optum, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, he has gained 2.12 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. Saurav's expertise lies in programming and web development, and he has a great eagerness to learn more about technology. He enjoys creating solutions for existing problems using technology and desires to be a software engineer solving real-world problems. He is continuously learning new things and broadening his skillset as much as possible. Before joining Optum, Saurav worked as a Project Engineer (Developer) at Wipro, where he worked as a .NET developer for the Person to Person team for a bank client. He was also responsible for testing regression batch files and hosted UI regression services using Swagger, Splunk, etc., for a bank client. He has experience working on different APIs and checking their logs. He developed a few services for an API, including request/response, and was responsible for making testing files and demoing them. He was the only one in the team with expertise in hosted UI services and its testing. He also worked for the Payment portal of a bank and provided services to Pfizer. Apart from his professional experience, Saurav has also volunteered for various interactive sessions on topics such as Drone and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Python, and 5G Communication. He has coordinated and managed one of the biggest tech events, such as Chatbot and Machine Learning events, with expertise in bringing great sponsorship for the chapter as well as for events. Saurav's tech stack includes Software Engineering, testing, Web development, JavaScript, MySQL, UI, AngularJS, QA, Java, Jenkins, Microservices, Backend, P2P, Bamboo, CI/CD, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Spring Boot, and Frontend.
