Saurav Mittal is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a deep passion for computers, programming, and science. With a relevant experience of 0.68 years, he has gained expertise in various technologies including Spark, Android, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Microservices, GCP, Javascript, and NoSQL. Currently, Saurav is working as a Software Engineer Intern at MTX Group, where he designed a microservice and its API that programmatically creates Kubernetes Objects from Dagster Helm charts. He also implemented a state management system for job failure and service handlers, using MongoDB as a State Store and Metadata Store. Additionally, he used GCP as a Data Lake to store pipeline intermediate datasets for read-writes, which were later pushed to cold-line storages. Prior to his current role, Saurav worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Plutoacademy, where he designed an expert profile page and built a complete Android app that was launched on Google Playstore. He also implemented infinite scrolling using pagination to scroll through books and expert sections in MVVM architecture. At Atom, he developed app features in Android studio like reward-fragments and media streaming using IFrame Player API. He reduced the app size by 60% using app bundles instead of APK, compressing images to webp format increasing downloads. He also wrote scripts using Javascript to upload media content by product team as structured JSON data in NoSQL Firebase. Saurav holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he studied from 2018 to 2022. He also completed a course in Computer Software Engineering from Scaler Academy in 2021-2022. Saurav is passionate about building things, structures, and systems that can contribute to the meaningfulness of society as a whole.
