Sauvik Chowdhury is a tech-savvy computer vision engineer and software developer with a passion for augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR) products, AI, and drones. With over 4 years of experience in research and development, he has a strong background in creating UI and interaction designs for AR/VR experiences, computer vision algorithms, and software design and development. Sauvik's key skills include XR (extended reality) product development and 3D UI/UX, multi-view geometry, calibration, SLAM, sensor integration, machine learning algorithms, and algorithms & data structures. He is proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Shell-scripting, and has experience with Keras, scikit-learn, OpenCV, ROS, Git, Docker, and Unity. Inspired by the works of Sir Albert Einstein, Michael Faraday, and Richard Feynmann, Sauvik is always up for any kind of adventure. He is a mountain goat and a football fanatic. Currently working as a Research and Development Engineer at Quidich Innovation Labs, Sauvik has previously worked as a Software Engineer and Computer Vision Engineer and Algorithm Developer at Dimension NXG. His past experiences include developing a GIS-based location tracking application and creating AR applications and experiences. Sauvik holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics from the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) SD India, Panipat.
