Sayak Kundu is a highly motivated and accomplished Software Engineer with over 3 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, he is serving as an Intern at 5 fingers, where he has developed an AR app using Vuforia that maps and tracks 3D objects, specifically organs, to assist surgeons in learning how to operate on them. Sayak has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from iiit Hyderabad, where he excelled as a Teaching Assistant. He was responsible for setting up assignments, checking papers, taking tutorials, and mentoring projects regarding Improving Urban Transportation System for the course of Engineering Systems. Sayak's passion for innovation and product development is evident in his achievements, including winning the Facebook Developer Group Hackathon, AWS Hackathon, and Alexa Hackathon. He is highly skilled in AWS, Research Scientist, and Software Engineering, and is always looking for new challenges to tackle. Sayak has also worked as an Intern at Artifacia, where he was responsible for prototyping the version 2 of fashion image detection, tracking, and similarity search model on User Generated as well as Non-User Generated Content and deploying it as an API.
