Sayan Bhattacharjee is an Aerospace Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Sukra Helitek Inc, a multinational company based in the USA that develops software for Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation and analysis of rotor aircrafts such as helicopters and propeller-based planes. His work involves the use of C/C++ and Fortran to develop High-Performance Computational software, and he is fully in charge of developing a 2D Unstructured Grid Generator based on Delaunay Triangulation and refinement based on Rupert and Chew's algorithms. Sayan has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Aeronautical Engineering from Bharath Institute of Science and Technology. He started his career as a Vibration Modelling and Analysis Intern at DRDO, where he was responsible for the nonlinear mathematical modelling and analysis of landing gear vibration of stealth military spec Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Vibrational models were embedded with loss modelling due to turbulent flow within the landing gear oleo struts. Sayan is an expert in software engineering and has a strong background in C/C++. He has achieved many accomplishments in his career, including increasing the scalability performance of a grid file format converter from O(N^3) to O(N*log(N)). He is also proficient in parallel computing using OpenCL. Apart from his professional work, Sayan likes to post cringe and self-improvement stuff on social media.
