Sayan Mondal is an accomplished Backend Developer and Smart India Hackathon 22 Winner with a passion for machine learning algorithms. He is currently exploring the intricacies of when and how machine learning algorithms fail, and is interested in pursuing a research-oriented career in this field. Currently working as a Computer Vision Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Sayan is engaged in the development of Face Detection in the wild. Prior to this, he worked as a Research Intern at Jadavpur University, where he gained expertise in Sequence Modelling, Computer Vision, and Digital Signal Processing. He also served as a Sr. Developer at IEEE Student Branch NIT Durgapur, where he honed his skills in Web Development and Executive Management. Sayan holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Durgapur and completed his SSE, AISSCE from D.A.V. Model School, Durgapur. His tech stack includes Computer Vision, Backend, ML, Research Scientist, and Web, and he has 1.78 years of relevant experience in the industry. With a strong interest in machine learning and a drive to pursue a research-oriented career, Sayan is a valuable asset to any team. He is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
