Sayyantana Dutta, also known as Shanton, is an e-learning and education technology professional with a passion for curriculum design and digital content creation. He is currently educating himself and others to thrive in their lives by adding 75 Thrive Skills to make them more independent. With almost a decade of experience in building institutions and turnkey projects in the education and media space, he is excited about the intersection of media, technology, and education and dreams of pursuing a PhD in the field. Shanton was a part of the founding team of Sai University, India's youngest and most dynamic interdisciplinary university, and its flagship product, the Daksha Fellowship, India's first PG fellowship for young mid-career law professionals. He has also worked with HT Media, building India's largest repository of on-demand audio content, HT Smartcast, and upGrad, specializing in Academics and Research and creating world-class content for its global customer base. Shanton's expertise includes curriculum design, digital content creation, and the intersection of media, technology, and education. He is a blockchain expert, research scientist, and designer. He has represented India internationally and has featured in many documentaries for his work for the community, especially in the fields of Neglected Monuments, Universal Accessibility, and Stigma against HIV-AIDS Patients. Currently, Shanton is an Associate Director - Content at harappa, where he is responsible for creating world-class content for their global customer base. In the past, he has worked with blockchain council as a Strategy Operations Consultant, where he envisioned, recommended, and coordinated a complete organizational structural overhaul to facilitate India's expansion. He has also worked with Daksha Fellowship as a Founding Team - Academic and Research Affairs, where he launched, developed, and recommended new policies and programs to support the student academic experience and managed all academic progress for India's first PG fellowship for mid-career lawyers with 76 students. Shanton holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business/Trade/Commerce from iift and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Chemical Engineering from Panjab University. With 6.77 years of relevant experience, Shanton is a passionate and driven individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the education and media space.
