Sean Pook is a seasoned Product Design Recruiter with over 15 years of experience in building talent pipelines for companies on five continents. With a background in software development, he is well-versed in the software lifecycle from conception to delivery. Sean has a unique blend of agency and in-house experience, which enables him to marry a proactive speed-based approach with internal qualitative processes, striking the right balance as the situation dictates. Currently, Sean works as a Product Design Recruiter at Meta International, where he connects the company with the brightest global design talent at senior, principal, and lead levels. He manages talent acquisition for various office locations in the UK and EU, including hybrid and full-time remote options. Sean also offers visa and relocation assistance to candidates from almost any country. Before joining Meta, Sean worked as a Contract Design Recruiter at AKQA Group, where he was contracted to help source design and design management talent for their London studio. He also worked as a Global UX & Design Recruiter at Experience Talent, where he built design teams on several continents for large brands and conducted retained search and 360-degree contingency engagements. Sean holds a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering from Nottingham Trent University, where he studied from 1999 to 2003. He has expertise in product design, software engineering, and search. Sean's relevant experience spans almost 20 years, and he is equally at home managing/leading teams as he is working on long-term independent assignments.
