Sekhar Variam is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in leading engineering teams and delivering products from concept to launch. He has worked on a variety of projects ranging from medical devices, SaaS, enterprise solutions hosted on cloud and on-premise environments. Sekhar is passionate about mentoring and building high-value teams and believes in striking a balance between current priorities and continuous learning with an eye for the future. Currently, he is pursuing novel product opportunities using AI and Machine Learning. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer at i2, where he was a core member of the R&D team and responsible for supplier relationship management. He has also worked as a Software Engineer at Tavant and Lead Software Architect at Bristlecone India Ltd. Sekhar has completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Calicut and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has also completed various courses and certifications in General Management, Deep Learning, Data Science/Big Data, Machine Learning, and Big Data from institutions such as IIM, Udacity, UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
