Selvan Thamarai is a highly experienced entrepreneur and product-focused professional with over 22 years of relevant experience. He is the Founder of a stealth mode startup that is working on a product focused on sports entertainment. Selvan is excited about creating unique and useful user experiences and cares about making user interaction simple and obvious. Previously, Selvan founded bitstat technologies, where he successfully raised seed funds from investors and built a revenue-generating enterprise product called xbrlware. The product was focused on automating the analysis of financial filings for small and medium trading/investment firms in the US and Europe. Selvan acquired customers globally and the product's IP and assets were acquired by a Frankfurt-based financial services company. As the founder, Selvan was responsible for creating a passionate and competitive core team, building a successful lean software product company, and running day-to-day operations. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Selvan has also worked as a consultant for other startups, including Elementum, What's My Tally, Bluejeans Network, and Amagi Media. He has also worked with a large investment bank based in New York as a consultant, where he was the lead developer and architect for the development and implementation of risk, portfolio management, and alternative investment solutions. Selvan holds a degree from the Government College of Technology in Coimbatore. He is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about creating innovative products that solve real-world problems.
